Kevin M. Norchi, Esq. graduated from Fordham
University, New York City, in 1983 and obtained his
law degree from Case Western Reserve University School
of Law in 1986. He became a member of the Ohio State
Bar in 1986 and is admitted to practice before the
United States District Court, Northern and Southern
Districts, and the United States Court of Appeals,
Sixth Circuit. Kevin began the practice of law with
civil trial experience in Cleveland for two years
and then in Cincinnati for six years representing
physicians in medical negligence lawsuits and pharmaceutical
companies in drug product liability matters. Returning
to Cleveland in 1994, his scope of practice broadened
to other areas of litigation including employment,
medical products liability, health care and related
subjects of fraud and abuse, credentialing, and professional
negligence. Since 1994, Kevin has continuously represented
certain institutional clients and with the support
of those clients, the law firm of Norchi & Associates
was established in 2002. In addition to ongoing litigation
and trial responsibilities, Kevin counsels clients
on “lessons learned” and sentinel event
analyses in addition to lecturing physicians, nurses
and hospital administrators on a wide-variety of

Lisa M. Barrett, Esq.

Lisa Barrett, Esq. was admitted to the Ohio Bar in
1992, having graduated with a B.A. from Alma College
in 1989 and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University
School of Law in 1992. Lisa has considerable civil
and criminal trial experience. For eight years, Lisa
was the Prosecuting Attorney and Assistant Director
of Law at Shaker Heights, Ohio developing expertise
in criminal, municipal and employment law. While with
the City, Lisa defended employment actions before the
Ohio Civil Rights Commission, EEOC, and in state and
federal courts. Lisa also trained hundreds of public
employees in employment claims prevention. In 2000,
Lisa joined the law firm of Moscarino & Treu where
she developed additional expertise in the area of professional
medical negligence. Currently, Lisa’s practice
focuses on the defense of employment claims and medical
professional claims.
Steven J. Forbes, Esq.

Steven J. Forbes, Esq. graduated from Amherst College,
cum laude, 1986 and received his J.D., with honors,
from George Washington University in 1989. He has been
a member of the Ohio State Bar for 14 years. Steve
has extensive civil and criminal trial experience.
He has tried over 50 cases to juries on issues ranging
from murder and disorderly conduct to wrongful death
and employment discrimination. He was head of the professional
liability practice group – which included all
employment related claims – at the law firm of
Janik & Dunn (later Janik & Forbes). He has
successfully represented employers in employment matters
since 1995. This representation included claims of
sexual harassment, sex discrimination, race discrimination,
disability discrimination, age discrimination and tortious
interference with business relations in state and federal
courts. He also represents physicians, attorneys and
insurance agents in professional negligence claims.
Steve continues with a large general civil litigation
practice with specialization in employment, professional
liability and insurance law.

Michael L. Golding, Esq. graduated cum laude from Bucknell
University in 1990 and received his law degree from
The Georgetown University Law Center in 1993. During
the past decade, Mike has represented clients in commercial,
employment, insurance, product liability and professional
liability matters. He currently focuses his practice
on defending insurance companies in coverage disputes,
representing manufacturers and restaurants in product
liability matters and handling negligence claims involving
health care providers and real estate professionals.
Mike has civil trial experience in state and federal
court and has authored coverage opinions on a broad
range of professional liability issues, including the
availability of insurance coverage for employment-related
claims.

Iverson Matthew Jackson, Esq. received his undergraduate
degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1999. In
May 2003, Matt graduated from Case Western Reserve
University School of Law and The Weatherhead School
of Business with combined J.D. and M.B.A. degrees.
A law clerk at Norchi & Associates since January
2003, Matt was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in November,
2003 and the United States District Court, Northern
District of Ohio in March, 2004. Matt is active in
the Cleveland Bar Association Young Lawyers committee
and as a Volunteer Lawyer for the Arts, and also as
a volunteer for the Legal Redress Committee of the
NAACP. Since becoming a lawyer, Matt has participated
in all aspects of civil litigation including trial
and appellate work.
